Randy Noel and Rich Bowren State Farm are seeking a motivated Account Representative to support both agents in one shared Colmar, PA office. This role is ideal for a professional who is equally strong in servicing existing customers and driving new business production.

You will play a key role in daily operations while helping grow two books of business. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and confidently recommending insurance solutions, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Licensing Requirements

  • Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license is required prior to Day 1 in the office
  •  Pennsylvania Life & Health license must be obtained within 90 days of starting
  •  Licensing guidance and support are provided
  • Prior State Farm or insurance industry experience is preferred but not required.


Role Overview

As an Account Representative, you will balance service excellence with proactive sales efforts. You will assist customers with policy needs while identifying opportunities to cross-sell and expand coverage through needs-based conversations.

This is not a back-office role. We are looking for someone who can confidently move between service and sales, strengthen retention, and contribute directly to agency growth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clear, accurate information about insurance products and services

Assist customers with policy applications, renewals, endorsements, and coverage changes

Handle service inquiries promptly and professionally

Conduct policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions

Proactively generate revenue through cross-selling and follow-up conversations

Maintain accurate documentation of all customer interactions

Collaborate with both agents and team members to achieve shared service and production goals

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced office

Comfortable engaging in sales conversations and asking for the business

Customer-focused with a growth mindset

Prior experience in customer service, sales, or insurance preferred
